NINE MILE METALS PROVIDES EXPLORATION PROGRAM UPDATE

VANCOUVER, B.C. Thursday August 15, 2024 – NINE MILE METALS LTD. (CSE: NINE, OTCQB: VMSXF, FSE: KQ9) (the “Company” or “Nine Mile”) is pleased to provide an update and report on the Nine Mile’s Western Portfolio Advanced Geophysical Summer 2024 Exploration Program situated in the renowned Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick (BMC). EXPLORATION  HIGHLIGHTS: (3) Wedge BHEM Surveys Completed (Holes WD-24-01, WD-24-05, and WD-24-06) Awaiting Final Results processing, Interpretation and 3D Modeling (1) California Lake BHEM Surveys Completed (Hole CL-23-10-01) Awaiting Final Results processing, Interpretation and 3D Modeling EEX – UAV Drone 3D Survey 1400 Line Kms – 72% Completed EEX – Ground Based TDEM Survey at California Lake Trend 10 (South) – initiated EEX – Ground Based TDEM Survey at Wedge Targets 3-4-6-7 – after California Lake #10 Les Forages Chapais Drill Rig Onsite and awaiting Final Drill Target Processing from EEX Figure 1: Nine Mile Metals Western Portfolio High Priority Target Trends Exploration Roadmap At the Wedge Project, (3) Bore Hole Electromagnetic (BHEM) surveys were completed by EarthEx Geophysical Solutions Inc. (“EarthEx” or “EEX”), one to the south (WD-24-01) collared in the footwall sediments targeting the deposit at depth and (2) holes drilled from the north (WD-24-05, WD-24-06) into the “New” unmined, eastern extension area. Preliminary results from WD-24-01 BHEM survey indicate a moderate to strong anomaly with initial modeling reflecting the mineralized intersections that included 11.10 meters assaying 1.37% Cu, 0.21% Pb, 0.29% Zn, 19.02 g/t Ag and 0.36 g/t Au (refer news release April 3, 2024). EarthEx has been provided with the historic drilling and further modeling is being conducted to determine the anomaly size and scale. Drill holes WD-24-05 and WD-24-06 were collared in the north and drilled to the southeast targeting the unmined eastern portion of the deposit. Results from WD-24-05 have near hole responses in areas of elevated assay values as expected in addition to a larger size, moderate to strong conductor. WD-24-05 uncovered VMS Mineralization in (4) Zones between 18.00 and 119.00 meters. Assay values from WD-24-05 included an 18-meter intersection assaying 0.72% Cu, 0.33% Zn, 2.2 g/t Ag and 0.03 g/t Au (refer news release June 24, 2024). A moderate to strong conductor is also seen in WD-24-06 and due to the proximity to WD-24-05, the response likely reflects the same source, the drill hole having a 10-meter intersection assaying 1.53% Cu, 0.81% Zn, 7.0 g/t Ag and 0.08 g/t Au (refer news release June 24, 2024). Additional modeling is being conducted to better constrain the anomaly and improve accuracy for drilling. The preliminary results from the California Lake CL-23-10-01 BHEM survey, indicated a weak to moderate conductor at depth. While we await the final results of the BHEM surveys, interpretation and 3D modeling, EarthEx has initiated high priority ground-based Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) surveying over previously identified priority conductors at the Wedge including targets 3, 4, 6 and 7, to further define the respective anomalies (Figure 2). Located in the western Wedge trend, the TDEM survey over the clustered anomalies provides the opportunity to validate the trend with high priority drill targets. Several lines are also planned over Target 6 which is along the southern extension of the California Lake East VMS trend that was successfully drilled in 2022. Figure 2: EEX TDEM Ground Based Grids & Loop covering Wedge Targets 3-4-6-7 At California Lake, Target Areas 10 and 11 were previously defined by EarthEX, the reprocessed MegaTEM data identifying numerous strong, late time conductive trends crudely forming a fold nose as seen in red in Figure 1 and highlighted by the red polylines that define the conductive axis. With a moderate conductor identified in CL-23-10-01 at a depth of 230.00 meters and adjacent, unresolved conductors, a ground-based Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) survey will be undertaken, the grid location shown in Figure 3, the southern corner of the grid proximal to the South Branch Forty Mile Brook Cu, Zn mineral occurrence identified by the yellow circle. Figure 3: California Lake Trend 10 South TDEM  Grid Location (White) covering EEX Priority Strong Red Conductor In conjunction with the TDEM program, EarthEx is also conducting a large, 1,400-line kilometer, close spaced UAV (Drone) magnetic survey over the California Lake project areas including target areas 1 through 10. The drone survey is underway in addition to linecutting to facilitate the ground based TDEM surveys (Figure 4). Figure 4: EEX – UAV Advanced Drone Survey Completion Update (Green – 943.5 Line Kms 72% Completed) Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration stated, “The entire Team at Nine Mile Metals, EarthEX, Line Cutters and Drillers, have been working for the past 2 months at the Wedge and California Lake Projects, propelling this important Exploration Program forward at an expedited rate. With all 3 surveys complete, the team will have a complete picture of the geophysical characteristics of the targets allowing us to move swiftly into our Phase 2 Drill Program. We look forward to our next update with all our results, findings, interpretation and 3D Modeling with distinct High Priority Drill targets.” NEXT STEPS: Maxwell plate modeling of the TDEM survey data. 3 D modeling of the magnetics to refine lithological boundaries and identify controlling structures. Data integration of all 3 geophysical surveys with the historic and 2024 drill data. Identification and Prioritization of drill targets. Diamond drilling.   The disclosure of technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements as set out in National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects (“NI 43-101”) and reviewed and approved by Gary Lohman, B.Sc., PGO., VP Exploration and Director who acts as the Company’s Qualified Person and is not independent of the Company. We are pleased with the progress to date, especially since the drill holes are along the eastern extension identified by Nine Mile Metals. Mineralization occurs primarily at the volcanic-sediment contact. As seen in the drill core, the VMS host consists primarily of fine-grained pyrite with no visible copper mineralogy, requiring extensive sampling and assaying. Looking at Figures 3 and 4, you can see the value of 3D modeling, with Figure 4 showing a more coherent visualization of the copper mineralization with two distinct zones highlighted, to the north and south respectively. To the north, the mineralization seems constrained to a vertical sheet, while in the south, the drill intersections in holes WD-24-02, WD-24-04, and WD-24-7 have both grade and width at depth, which when combined, will add tonnes to the deposit. The mineralized trend is also open east of WD-24-04 for further expansion. We look forward to the BHEM survey to be conducted down WD-24-01 and will give us a very valuable look at the depth of this new mineralized area,” commented Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration & Director. Figure 4: Oblique View of all 2024 Wedge 2024 Program Drill Holes (Facing East) Patrick J. Cruickshank, MBA, CEO & Director stated, “We are pleased to announce this summary compilation of our 8 DDH in the new east extension of the Wedge Mine. This is significant to the economics of this project. As the compilation demonstrates, we consistently have strong copper-silver results representing significant volume. At the base of the mudstones, the massive sulphide mineralization consisted of disseminated chalcopyrite and massive pyrite and sphalerite blebs, the latter also well-banded as seen in Figure 2. Galena was also present and is reflected in both the lead and silver assays in Table 2. The distribution of the sulphide mineralogy in WD-24-03 is quite distinct, with visible sphalerite and lesser galena noted in the upper portion, while chalcopyrite was more evenly distributed throughout the section. In this drill hole, there is a distinct Pb/Zn zone at the upper contact, with visible galena present. As with other drill holes, the lead is associated with increased silver mineralization. We look forward to reporting the remaining drill holes and commencing our summer program,” commented Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration & Director. Patrick J. Cruickshank, MBA, CEO & Director, stated, “Once again, we have a strong width of mineralization in this hole, with copper and silver leading the way. We have had a few holes now with over 1.0 oz per ton of Ag. The Wedge Target Area #1 continues to impress us with the width and grades of these drill holes. This is developing a strong story for the eastern extension of this deposit. We look forward to our upcoming BHEM survey at this base hole area to assist our advanced geophysical processing analysis in preparation for our Phase 2 program at the Wedge Target. We still have The Wedge Target Area #2 and the western extension to pursue shortly.” Figure 1: Cross Section, Drill Hole WD-24-03   Figure 2: Sample 280137, 1.69% Cu, 15.45% Pb, 11.35% Zn, 0.283 g/t Au, and 163.00 g/t Ag   Figure 3:  Plan View, Drill Hole Collars & Surface Projection of Drill Holes   QAQC and Sampling All samples were submitted to and analyzed at ALS Laboratories Ltd (“ALSGlobal”), an independent commercial laboratory, for both sample preparation and assaying. Fire assay gold was elevated, reaching up to 1.1g/t Au. Intersections seen in drill hole WD-24-08 demonstrate the multi-element potential of the system,” commented Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration & Director. Patrick J. Cruickshank, MBA, CEO & Director stated, “We are pleased to continue releasing drill results that support our objective of proving the eastern proposed extension of unmined ore and expanding The Wedge Deposit’s footprint to re-evaluate its economics. Hole WD-24-08 was a solid VMS hole, displaying very strong copper and silver with good lead-zinc mineralization. Through reviewing the five announced drill holes to date on The Wedge program and the upcoming 73 newly received digitized Cominco historic surface hole data (assays and lithology), along with 110 underground holes, combined with our announced BHEM at the Wedge, we are going to be able to evaluate and execute phase 2 on this high-priority project in our western portfolio of targets. We look forward to our next release in our 2024 exploration program. We are finalizing our summer program at other high priority targets, including California Lake Hole #10, Wedge North Target #6, and The West Wedge and Tri Bag trend targets.” FIGURE 1:  Chalcopyrite, Lower Zone (2.05% Cu)   FIGURE 2:  Chalcopyrite Lower Zone (3.78% Cu) Figure 3: Plan View, Drill Hole Collars, and Surface Projection (Drill Holes Reported to Date) The disclosure of technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements as set out in National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects (“NI 43-101”) and reviewed and approved by Gary Lohman, B.Sc., PGO., VP Exploration and Director who acts as the Company’s Qualified Person and is not independent of the Company. There is minor zinc mineralization; however, lead and associated silver is essentially absent. In the Lower Zone (Table 3), the copper mineralization is more variable, with the lead, zinc, and silver again highlighting the contact with the sediments. “Drill Hole WD-24-07 was exceptional, intersecting widespread, consistent copper mineralization over a substantial width. The mineralization is primarily fine-grained pyritic VMS, typical of the Bathurst Mining Camp, which makes visual estimates of copper challenging (Figure 1). This drill hole demonstrates the continued unmined expansion of high-grade copper east of the historic workings. With coding of the Cominco surface holes complete, 3D modeling can now commence to assist in defining the structural and geological controls on the mineralization,” commented Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration & Director. NINE MILE METALS ENGAGES EARTHEX GEOPHYSICAL SOLUTIONS TO CONDUCT TWO (2) BOREHOLE ELECTROMAGNETIC (BHEM) SURVEYS AT CALIFORNIA LAKE (CL-23-10-01) AND THE WEDGE (WD-24-01) DRILL HOLES

VANCOUVER, B.C. Friday May 10th, 2024 – NINE MILE METALS LTD. (CSE: NINE, OTCQB: VMSXF, FSE: KQ9) (the “Company” or “Nine Mile”) is pleased to announce that it has engaged EarthEx Geophysical Solutions Inc. (EarthEx) to conduct two (2) Borehole Electromagnetic (BHEM) surveys, one at California Lake (CL-23-10-01) and a second at the Wedge (WD-24-01), as shown in Figure 1. Permit applications have been submitted and received from the Department of Natural Resources in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The EarthEx crew is scheduled to mobilize the 1st week of June from their Headquarters in Manitoba. Figure 1: BHEM Collar Locations, California Lake (CL-23-10-01) and the Wedge (WD-24-01). Borehole EM surveying is a High-Resolution Time Domain EM technology that involves the laying of a transmitting loop to the side of the projected drill hole, followed by dropping a survey probe down the hole to detect the electrical conductivity of the adjacent rocks. Many factors are taken into consideration in the survey design including the depth of the hole, its position relative to the target, the geology of the country rock, and the specified target. At the California Lake DDH (CL- 23-10-01), EarthEx has proposed an 800 x 800-meter loop. With the depth of the drill hole, the possible search radius of the survey may be near 500 – 700+ meters, covering all the intended targets and adjacent converging Late Time Strong Conductive Responses (Red – Yellow & Blue Line Axis) anomalies (Figure 2). The California Lake drill hole (CL-23-10-01) was drilled at an azimuth of 203 degrees and a dip of -75 and was terminated above target depth due to inclement weather and access restrictions in December. After reviewing the drill logs, discussing with geologists from the Department of Mines, and a follow up review with EarthEx, a borehole electromagnetic survey was designed by the Technical Team to test both the original target at California Lake DDH (CL-23-10-01), as well as adjacent, strong, and late time electromagnetic conductors previously defined by EarthEx. The BHEM Survey will allow Nine Mile to see the conductivity deeper and in all directions from the probe. This is very cost effective, especially when dealing with a deep drill hole where continued drilling is both time consuming and expensive. As previously released, the drilling was in a mix of Flat Landing Brook felsic volcanics that displayed intense hydrothermal alteration, high temperature mineralogy, and sulphide mineralization, with the extremely siliceous host rocks making drilling at depth challenging. In addition to burning drill bits, drilling was slow, at times cutting only a meter per hour. Figure 2: DDH CL-23-10-01 and identified Late Time EM Strong Conductor (Red), Moderate (Yellow) an Weak (Blue) At the Wedge, the DDH (WD-24-01) was collared approximately 30 meters below the footings of the old headframe and drilled at an azimuth of 330 degrees and a dip of –45 degrees to a depth of 165 meters. EarthEx has proposed utilizing a 300 x 300-meter loop. Although the drill hole does not have benefit of depth, it was collared on the strong conductor identified by EarthEx. This survey should provide information on the adjacent rocks, including mineralization below the Wedge mine where there is no evidence of mining. The survey will also provide information on the structural complexity of the deposit and the location of any offset mineralization/lenses. Figure 3: The Wedge DDH (WD-24-01) over Late Time EM Strong Conductor (Red). “Borehole geophysics on both drill holes will provide the team with further direction prior to additional drilling. It is imperative we revisit CL-23-10-01 with BHEM prior to additional drilling. In addition to being cost effective, the BHEM survey will delineate potential targets below the end of the present drill hole, while also evaluating the adjacent stratigraphy where we have the convergence of three (3) conductors at Target area 10. We are in the right stratigraphy and multiple sources have identified a favorable VMS target environment at depth adjacent to and flanking the drill hole. At the Wedge, historical mining below 500 feet was limited and the results of the BHEM survey combined with our recent assays and the upcoming 3D model will assist in designing the phase 2 drill program. We look forward to commencing work in early June and advancing the California Lake VMS program, utilizing the best technology and data processing available,” commented Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration & Director. Patrick J Cruickshank, MBA, CEO & Director stated, “We are pleased to announce our Advanced Phase 2 Geophysical Exploration Program. The western portfolio’s successes have been based on our proprietary Phase 1 reprocessing technologies. These successes warrant the next step in our technological process, BHEM Surveys, and deposit footprint with step out extension 3D Modeling. Our 2024 summer program will commence the 1st week of July and continue through the fall. The recent increased Flow Through Funding was very important for us to execute our complete summer program including our next drill phase once the advanced geophysics are completed and interpreted for priority target definition. Now, with our spring access available, we are eager to enter this important and exciting phase of our program. We look forward to releasing our next assays on our Wedge Phase 1 DDH Program once available.” The company has also submitted an application for the New Brunswick Junior Mining Assistance Grant Program (NBJMAP), specifically to address priority targets to the northwest of the Wedge mine site. Exploration plans include close spaced UAV (Drone) magnetics to assist in defining structural and stratigraphic boundaries followed by ground-based Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) surveying and 3D plate modeling to identify future high priority drill targets for the Phase 2 Wedge Drill Program. The NBJMAP Panel awards the 2024 Grant Recipients by end of May. Last year, Nine Mile Metals was awarded a $50,000 Grant for its California Lake VMS Project, which was utilized for drilling the California Lake DDH (CL-23-10-01).
